get well, dude
I try to. I tried for more than a week. But I’m afraid of the physical stress that’s coming up tomorrow. But as I said: if it doesn’t work out, I’m gonna/have to quit the job.
I lived off from ~300€ below poverty level since 2009, I can do it again :)
I was on sick leave for a bit more than a week because I hurt my back really bad. Tomorrow (in about 7 hours) my first shift starts and I’m quite anxious because I tried moving sofas around on Tuesday, just to see if it works and I ended up with back pain for the rest of the day. Tomorrow’s going to be even more interesting because I got a call from my boss today - she asked, if I’d like to do an extra shift in the afternoon. The upper floor of the company is being rebuild atm and on Saturday afternoons there are helpers needed. And of course I said yes, because I get 20€ gross (which is far more than I make at regular shifts).
And I still have slight back pain. The worst case would be that I go on sick leave again afterwards and, in further consequence, quit the job (a mini job (380€/month) isn’t worth a slipped disk).
At least the physical therapy and massage sessions start next Tuesday.
Good news first, our small tour starts on Sunday!!
Band news, unfortunately our 7inch is still at the pressing plant (fuckheads!!!)
Nevertheless we do have some new shirt designs with us.
